DIY tips on Vermiponics, worm composting and sustainable farming
Glad to see another vermiponics source- nice work! Do you know if vermiponics actually works though, i.e. do you know and/or have examples of worm leachate successfully supplanting hydroponic nutrient solutions from veg through bloom? Thanks again!
Thanks Vel! I've tried diluted wormbin leachate for leafy greens and am currently using it with some small chili plants (that aren't flowering yet). I'm going to see if it works on a bigger scale with greens and will also try it with tomatoes later this year. I know that the hardest part will be keeping the nutrient solution consistent but I think that it'll be worth it. In terms of examples, you might have already seen this, but its the best source I think http://www.redwormcomposting.com/gardening/vermiponics/
